Johnson’s Beach

Historic Johnson’s Beach has been an historic and favorite destination for Russian River visitors for over a century.
Accessible from downtown Guerneville, this storied beach in the midst of towering redwood groves, offers tent camping, bungalows and small cabins, as well as day use of the beach.
The beach opens on Memorial Day and closes October 1. Come and enjoy canoes, kayaks, beach chairs, inner tubes and umbrella rentals. Their snack bar offers burgers, hot dogs and ice cream as well as local beers and wines. Enjoy live music all day!
