Tour Russian River Brewing in Windsor
Every year starting the first Friday in February, since 2005, savvy craft beer connoisseurs line up around the block to sample Russian River Brewing Company’s annual release of “Pliny the Younger”. For two weeks, this Triple IPA brew is available in their original Santa Rosa location, and as of this year, in their recently debuted Windsor location.
This brewery has won dozens of awards from the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup. The 4th Street, Santa Rosa location is still thriving, but owners Vinnie and Natalie have expanded into Windsor, building their dream facility, which has quickly become the hottest gathering spot for the area. With over 85,000 square feet, the brewery encompasses beer production for both clean beers and sour barrel-aged beers, administrative offices, brewpub, outdoor beer garden, gift shop, tasting room/growler fills, guided and self-guided tours and 2 acres of free parking (if you have tried to park on 4th Street in Santa Rosa, you understand the importance of plentiful free parking).
Tours of the brewery are available daily. In this complete sensory experience, you will observe the brewing process, smell the fermentation, and taste three of their selected brews from your very own souvenir glass! The self-guided tour will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays.
