Floathouse Boat Rentals

The Floathouse, located on docks floating in the downtown turning basin in Petaluma has the widest variety of people-powered water craft anywhere. Boats include pedal & paddle kayaks, pedal & paddle SUPs, Hydro-bikes, Schiller water bikes, outboards, canoes. and rowboats of all kinds. Rent a boat, take a tour, sign up for summer camp, or join an event on the water. Private outings available! Anytime, any boat: weekday, weekend, or night time. Contact them to arrange – choose any watercraft you like, $40/person, 90 minutes, 6-person minimum.

Access is via the gate and gangway between Water Street Bistro and Central Market on Water Street. Use 50 Water Street for GPS directions. The Floathouse is a project of Petaluma Small Craft Center, a nonprofit organization, and was built with donations from the community and local businesses.
Open 10am-3pm Fridays, 9am-5pm Saturdays and Sundays, and by appointment for group outings anytime.
