Shop, Dine or Stay at Historic Railroad Square

In Old Town Santa Rosa, restored turn-of-the-century buildings are filled with specialty shops, antique stores, fantastic restaurants and elegant hotels. This area is known as Railroad Square and was developed in the 1880s when the first trains arrived in Santa Rosa. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The 1904 train depot has been restored and is home to the California Welcome Center as well as the Santa Rosa Convention and Visitors Bureau.

See Live Theatre at 6th Street Playhouse

6th Street Playhouse is a performing arts theater located in the historic Railroad Square district in Santa Rosa, CA that engages, entertains, and inspires a diverse community. 6th Street Playhouse has been named “Best Theatre Troupe” by the North Bay Bohemian readership for the last four consecutive years, and “Best Local Theatre Company” by the Press Democrat Best of Sonoma County Awards for the last two years. The Playhouse was named “Theatre of the Year” by Broadway World San Francisco 2012-2014.
