La Gare French Restaurant has been a staple in Fine French Cuisine here in Sonoma County for 44 years! Second-generation family owned and operated, we take pride in utilizing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create dishes from our Swiss-French heritage. We pride ourselves on keeping the tradition of beginning every meal with both soup and salad included, as well as table-side preparations. La Gare has been voted Best Dining Experience in 2023 and our Co-Owner and Executive Chef Roger Praplan has received Best Chef 2022 and 2023! In recent years we have also been awarded Sonoma County’s Most Romantic Restaurant, Best Takeout and Best Gluten Free Menu by the Press Democrat.
