A captivating display of bright costumes, swirling skirts, and cultural comunitario.
Experience the heart of Mexico and it’s many regions and cultures with the beauty of Ballet Folklórico Comunitario Yolotl, a cadre of about 55 dancers formed under the direction of “maestra” Yolanda Girón.
“Yolotl“ means ”heart“ in Nahuatl. The language, which is part of a group of languages in the Uto-Aztecan language family, is spoken by millions of people in central Mexico and in smaller populations in the United States.
