Cloverdale Friday Night Live: Dustin Saylor & The Stowaways

Every Friday through September 4, you are invited to gather in the streets of downtown Cloverdale for a street fair complete with vendors, food and live music! The Street Fair starts at 6pm and the music will play from 7pm – 9:30pm.

Dustin Saylor, a Northern California-born country singer-songwriter, has made a name for himself as the #1 Country/Folk artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. His musical journey began in childhood, first at the piano and later as a guitarist and singer for his high school youth group and local church. Despite early challenges, including a devastating American Idol rejection in 2009, Saylor had a transformative moment on his long drive home, realizing that true success required full commitment. Embracing his calling, he quit bartending, pursued a music degree at Sonoma State University, and became a full-time musician. Over the years, he has performed alongside artists like Tyler Rich, Chase Rice, and Daughtry, with his sound often compared to Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton. His songwriting is deeply personal, shaped by his early experiences of adoption and the contrasting struggles and joys of his life. Through his music, Saylor seeks to inspire, heal, and create a space where people can connect beyond labels. Committed to his craft, he remains “all in,” determined to sing and play music for the rest of his life.
