Tour a Candy Factory at Jelly Belly in Fairfield

Step into the Jelly Belly Factory and smell the aroma of chocolate, peach, cinnamon, pineapple, or whatever is being cooked up that day. This famous factory is located in Fairfield, California, about 15 to 20 minutes from Napa. The Jelly Belly Visitor Center is open daily from 9am to 5pm. An on-site dog walk area is available for guests traveling with pets. Jelly Belly Candy Company has an updated FREE self-guided factory tour with new experiences for first-time and returning visitors. Updates to the factory tour include HD/4K videos to give an up-close view of machinery and candy making, interactive games and exhibits, and a look at an area of the factory not included in the previous version of the tour. The Jelly Belly factory tour remains free of charge – and the samples do too.

New interactive exhibits along the tour lane include:
Bean Blitz–A computer-generated soccer experience where guests become goalies in front of a jellybean-shaped “net,” and try to block large virtual Jelly Belly jellybeans that appear to be hurling their way.

Test your Belly Flop IQ–True Jelly Belly bean fans know that a “Belly Flop” is a jellybean that isn’t the right shape. Now, guests can test their hand-eye coordination by using touch technology to swipe misshapen or wrong-colored jellybeans off a 55-inch flat screen monitor. Go head-to-head against a friend and see who has a higher Belly Flop IQ.

Smell Stations–A corridor of the tour lane is filled with 10 Smell Stations where visitors can try to guess Jelly Belly bean flavors based on scent alone. Push the button to dispense the fragrance but be warned: It’s harder than it seems. A clue at each station will aid those left baffled.
The Jelly Belly Visitor Center is also home to a large Jelly Belly Store, Chocolate and Fudge Shoppe, Jelly Belly Café, and the Chocolate & Wine Experience. Free public tours run daily, 9:15 a.m. – 4 p.m.
