the live mic, hosted open Bluegrass jam series typically occurs on the fourth Sunday of each month. This community event has grown a strong following of Bluegrass players and fans alike, with it’s popular, casual performance-oriented jam format welcoming Intermediate to Advanced players to the famed Sweetwater stage.
Sign-up via email to openmic@sweetwatermusichall.org. You may sign up anytime between 6 pm the night before and 3 pm on the actual Tuesday. If you are in school and need to go early, please indicate that in your request. If you would like a certain time slot, please indicate that as well, no guarantees. You will receive a confirmation and the performance times by 5 p.m. that day. Each performer will have 2 songs/10 minutes to perform. There will be a bass amp, a guitar amp, a set of drums, and a piano already set up for anyone to use.
