Gualala Arts Center 46501 Old State Highway, Gualala, United StatesThe Bay Area Basket Makers Introduces – Traditional and Beyond, a new exhibit showcasing a collection of contemporary fiber vessels. This exhibit, which opens on Friday, September 12, from 4-6 pm, promises to be a captivating display of craftsmanship and artistry, remaining open to the public until October 5 at the Gualala Arts Burnett Gallery. “These contemporary fiber vessels, while not necessarily functional in the traditional sense, stand as sculptures that express a wide range of emotions, ideas, and mental states” says BABM member Bob Darchi.
