Raven Theatre presents An Almost Famous Evening with Cameron Crowe

T.O.W.N. presents An Almost Famous Evening with Oscar-winning writer & director Cameron Crowe, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Almost Famous and benefiting True West Film Center, a non-profit organization.
This event at the Raven is a simulcast experience; the full evening at True West Film Center includes a seated dinner from T.O.W.N. featuring 7 restaurants and 7 wineries; a screening of Almost Famous followed by a Q&A with Cameron, legendary rock journalist Ben Fong-Torres, and True West’s John Cooper; and a live band covering ‘70s classics. Proceeds benefit True West Film Center, a non-profit organization offering educational programs and a full schedule of films in its modern jewel box cinema in downtown Healdsburg, simulcast at the iconic Raven Performing Arts Theater.

In 1973, 15-year-old William Miller’s unabashed love of music and aspiration to become a rock journalist lands him an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine to interview and tour with the up-and-coming band, Stillwater.
