CONTRA-TIEMPO is a bold, multilingual Los Angeles-based dance theater company that creates communities where all people move through the world with compassion, confidence, and joy. Their evening-length experience entitled joyUS justUS takes on joy as the ultimate expression of resistance with embodied stories of joy collected from communities of color in South Los Angeles and features original music compositions by Las Cafeteras and d. sabela grimes.
