Bear Republic Brewing, long known for its flagship craft beer Racer IPA, has taken over the previous lakeside restaurant Latitudes Island Grill in Rohnert Park. This family-owned business offers a central Sonoma County location and has quickly become Rohnert Park’s favorite gathering place.
Sit on their expansive lakeview patio and sample beer, while noshing from their appetizer menu or artisan cheeses. Or grab a table inside and enjoy a meal from their full menu with selections from sandwiches to steak.
Their menu offers the perfect pairing of their wide selection of locally crafted award-winning beers to their menu items. Sample brews like Hop Shovel™ Double IPA Big-N-Juicy; El Oso™ (my personal favorite), crafted in the spirit of thirst quenching Mexican lagers; Further Thru the Haze, a hefty 8% double IPA with ripe and juicy citrus & tropical aromas, creamy mouth feel, and a velvety soft bitterness; or go for broke with Baba Yaga – Stout – Imperial / Double, a 12% Stout layering in cacao, caramel malts, roasted barley, black molasses, and a touch of licorice root for a lingering sweetness.
