SUMMARY:Cloverdale Performing Arts Center presents The Business of Murder
DESCRIPTION:A critical and popular success in London\, this psychological thriller about revenge centers on the interlocking triangular relationship between Dee\, a successful television playwright; Hallet\, a detective superintendent; and Stone\, a humorless\, prissy man. Dee arrives at Stone’s flat\, having accepted an invitation to discuss a script by Stone’s wife. She is rather surprised when Hallett\, with whom she is having an affair\, also arrives\, apparently to investigate a matter concerning Stone’s son and his involvement with a drug ring. But where are wife and son? After many twists and turns\, Stone’s intentions become clear as he slowly reveals the precise nature of the trio’s relationship: all three are very much concerned with the business of murder and the play culminates in another perpetration of the crime. \nFriday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm

SUMMARY:Mystic Theatre presents Johnny Sansone & His All Star Louisiana Band
DESCRIPTION:Turn your Sunday into a night to remember! Join us on November 22nd at 7:00 PM for an unforgettable evening of music with the Johnny Sansone Band! Proceeds from this concert will directly help Global Healing‘s ongoing efforts in Roatán\, Honduras\, continuing to support fire recovery and providing the assistance needed to facilitate the hospital’s pediatric and maternal services—helping to collaboratively care for expectant mothers and children. \nIn 2024\, a shocking fire ravaged the sole public hospital on Roatán. Home to Global Healing’s pediatric clinic and hospital services for over the past two decades\, the hospital was vital for emergency care for both children and adults\, performing urgent surgeries\, and providing maternity services—like life-saving C-sections. Reduced to ashes\, the hospital and clinic left Honduras with even fewer means to deliver essential medical care. All medical equipment was lost\, and recovery is still ongoing. \nAs always\, a special silent auction will be presented during the benefit—supporting Global Healing and celebrating the community members and organizations who generously donate items. If you or loved ones are interested in supporting our benefit concerts through volunteering or donating auction items for fundraising\, please contact Dr. Eric Scher at eric@globalhealing.org or (415)846-9160. \nThe Johnny Sansone Band is a veteran lineup with over 30 years of touring the world together. This five-piece electric band covers New Orleans R&B\, Zydeco\, Louisiana Swamp\, Rock and Soul\, in a show built entirely around Sansone’s powerful\, deep catalog of all original songs. Featuring Sansone’s world class harmonica work\, soulful accordion\, and a powerhouse rhythm section\, this lineup delivers a masterclass in authentic roots music and legendary energy. \nAll original Repertoire: A showcase of award-winning\, fiercely original songwriting that cuts straight to the heart of Gulf Coast culture.

SUMMARY:Sweetwater presents The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra was formed in San Francisco in 2007 by guitarist/bandleader Anthony Paule. Inspired by Soul and Blues music of the 1960s and ‘70s\, this dramatic eight piece\, horn driven powerhouse creates and records their original music\, while staying deeply rooted in the origins of this African American art form. APSO’s riveting vocalist Willy Jordan\, channels the raw vulnerability\, and gritty\, high-energy spirit of soul music.\n\n Relatable\, empathetic songwriting; pure heart-sung vocals\, and supportive\, passionate instrumental performances form the backbone of this band. APSO has their own sound\, but if comparisons must be made those which come to mind are Al Green\, Bobby Bland\, Bobby Womack\, David Ruffin\, Tyrone Davis\, and the Stax & Motown record labels.\n\nDuring their nineteen years together\, APSO has recorded and released six singles and seven albums. The recordings earned twenty BMA (Blues Music Awards) nominations\, as well as coveted positions on SiriusXM’s Bluesville\, numerous radio playlists\, and music critics’ “best of” lists for Down Beat Magazine\, and Living Blues Magazine.\n\nAnthony Paule recorded on Van Morrison’s 2026 release “Somebody Tried To Sell Me A Bridge”. In September\, Anthony will be in London\, performing his second residency with Van.\n\nAPSO is currently promoting the release of their latest and very well received album “What Can We Do?” which was released July 24\, 2026.
