Mystic Theatre presents Willie Watson & Erin Rae

We’re thrilled to welcome Willie Watson and Erin Rae to the Mystic Theatre this August for an evening of heartfelt folk songs from two of Americana’s most distinctive voices.

Willie Watson helped introduce a generation of listeners to the deep roots of American folk music through his work with Old Crow Medicine Show and alongside artists like Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Now, after years spent interpreting the songbook, he’s stepped forward with his first collection of deeply personal original songs.

Joining him is Nashville songwriter Erin Rae, whose luminous blend of indie-folk, cosmic country, and thoughtful songwriting has earned praise from Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone, and beyond.
