SUMMARY:JaM Cellars Presents The Wallflowers with support from Aaron Lee Tasjan
DESCRIPTION:The Wallflowers will mark the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Bringing Down the Horse with a nationwide U.S. tour kicking off April 17\, 2026. The band will perform their classic album in its entirety\, in sequence. The tour will also include a performance at Stagecoach\, the world’s largest country music festival. \nOriginally released on May 21\, 1996\, Bringing Down the Horse was a critical and commercial triumph. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and was certified quadruple platinum\, cementing the band’s place in ’90s rock history. The LP yielded four hit singles: \n• “6th Avenue Heartache” – Two Grammy nominations (1997)• “One Headlight” – Reached #1 on the Billboard singles chart\, winning two Grammy Awards (1998). The song ranked #58 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Pop Songs”• “The Difference” – Grammy nomination (1998)• “Three Marlenas” – Released as the album’s final single in October 1997 \nInfluenced by a slew of first-generation American songwriters including The Band and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers\, The Wallflowers will also pay tribute on the upcoming tour to the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers by playing Petty’s 1982 album Long After Dark in its entirety and in sequence as well. \nJakob Dylan\, the band’s chief songwriter\, remains a vital performer in American rock music. As part of three decades of work\, in 2002 he inducted Tom Petty into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 2018\, he performed in the critically acclaimed documentary Echo in the Canyon\, collaborating with artists ranging from Neil Young and Eric Clapton to Beck\, Cat Power\, Norah Jones\, and Regina Spektor. \nDylan also contributed songs to several soundtracks\, including The Wallflowers’ cover of “Heroes” for the 1998 Godzillafilm soundtrack; “Arms of a Ghost” to the television series NCIS: Los Angeles; and “Nothing but the Whole Wide World” to Friday Night Lights. In 2025 The Wallflowers supported Eric Clapton on his U.S. tour\, as they have done in the past\, as well as supporting performances for The Who and The Rolling Stones. \nFor tour dates\, tickets\, and additional updates\, visit www.wallflowersmusic.com.

SUMMARY:JaM Cellars Presents Y&T
DESCRIPTION:Before Mötley Crüe\, before RATT\, even before there was a Metallica\, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early 1970s\, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the ’80s became popular opening for headliners Y&T—and cut their teeth on the band\, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe. \nBorn in Oakland\, California\, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s own innovators of the hard rock sound. Whether performing to a festival crowd of fifty-thousand or in an intimate nightclub\, Y&T’s high-energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe\, proving Y&T’s music timeless. \nOriginally formed as Yesterday and Today\, the initial powerhouse quartet—featuring Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals)\, Phil Kennemore (bass)\, Leonard Haze (drums)\, and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar)—tore through the ’70s and ’80s with their own brand of hard rock. After two ’70s albums on London Records\, they shortened their name to Y&T and released eight albums on A&M in the ’80s. Two more albums with Geffen Records marked an era of change with Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper\, Suicidal Tendencies\, Megadeth) on drums and Stef Burns (Alice Cooper\, Berlin\, Huey Lewis) on guitar.

SUMMARY:JaM Cellars Presents Richard Thompson with Zara Phillips
DESCRIPTION:Richard Thompson’s musical influence cannot be overstated. Having co-founded the groundbreaking group Fairport Convention as a teenager in the ‘60s\, he and his bandmates invented the distinctive strain of British Folk Rock. He left the group by the age of 21 which was followed by a decade long musical partnership with his then-wife Linda\, to over 30 years as a highly successful solo artist. \nIn 2011\, Thompson received an OBE (Order of the British Empire) personally bestowed upon him by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. The Los Angeles Times called him “the finest rock songwriter after Dylan and the best electric guitarist since Hendrix” and Rolling Stone has named him one of the Top 100 Guitarists of All Time. He has received lifetime achievement awards for songwriting from the BBC Radio 2 Awards\, the Americana Music Association\, and was awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello Award. His song “1952 Vincent Black Lightning” was named one of TIME Magazine’s “100 Greatest Songs Since 1923.” \nA wide range of musicians have recorded Thompson’s songs including Robert Plant\, Elvis Costello\, R.E.M.\, Sleater-Kinney\, Del McCoury\, Bonnie Raitt\, Tom Jones\, David Byrne\, Don Henley\, Los Lobos\, and many more. His massive body of work includes many Grammy nominated albums as well as numerous soundtracks\, including Werner Herzog’s Grizzly Man and 2019’s The Cold Blue. His genre defying mastery of both acoustic and electric guitar along with engaging energy and onstage wit continue to earn him new fans and a place as one of the most distinctive virtuosos and writers in Folk Rock history. \nZara Phillips is a singer and songwriter\, actor\, author\, and activist. As an adoptee herself\, much of her work is centered around the adoption world and is focused on improving understanding the lifelong impact of adoption. She is a mother of three and tours with her husband\, musician Richard Thompson. She divides her time between London and New Jersey.

SUMMARY:Going to Extremes: A John Waters 80th Birthday Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Born in Baltimore\, MD in 1946\, John Waters was drawn to movies at an early age\, particularly exploitation movies with lurid ad campaigns. He subscribed to Variety at the age of twelve\, absorbing the magazine’s factual information and its lexicon of insider lingo. This early education would prove useful as the future director began his career giving puppet shows for children’s birthday parties. As a teenager\, Waters began making 8-mm underground movies influenced by the likes of Jean-Luc Godard\, Walt Disney\, Andy Warhol\, Russ Meyer\, Ingmar Bergman\, and Herschell Gordon Lewis.

SUMMARY:JaM Cellars presents The English Beat
DESCRIPTION:The English Beat is a band with an energetic mix of musical styles and a sound like no other. The band’s unique sound has allowed it to endure for nearly four decades and appeal to fans\, young and old\, all over the world. \nWhen The English Beat (known as The Beat in their native England) rushed on to the music scene in 1979\, it was a time of massive social and political unrest and economic and musical upheaval. This set the stage for a period of unbridled musical creativity\, and thanks in large part to the Punk movement and it’s DIY approach to making music\, artists like The Beat were able to speak out and speak their mind on the news of the day\, as in “Stand Down Margaret”\, things that mattered to them and the youth culture\, as in “Get A Job”\, and universal matters of the heart and soul\, as in their classic hits “I Confess” and “Save It For Later”. \nThe Beat first came to prominence as founding members of the British Two Tone Ska movement\, with their classic first album “Just Can’t Stop It” fitting squarely in that genre. Along with their contemporaries The Specials\, The Selecter\, and Madness\, the band became an overnight sensation and one of the most popular and influential bands of that movement. \nHowever\, band leader Dave Wakeling never felt constrained by the movement. The band crossed over fluidly between soul\, reggae\, pop and punk\, and from these disparate pieces they created an infectious dance rhythm. \nThe band’s sound continued to evolve over their three studio albums\, through the General Public era (a band formed by Dave with The Beat’s toaster\, Ranking Roger)\, and it has continued its evolution with the forthcoming English Beat album “Here We Go Love”\, a PledgeMusic crowd-funded album set for a 2016 release\, the band’s first new album since 1982’s “Special Beat Service”. \nConsummate showman that he is\, Dave Wakeling continues to keep The Beat alive and strong\, touring the world as The English Beat with an amazing all-star ska backing band playing all the hits of The Beat\, General Public\, and songs from his new album “Here We Go Love”.

SUMMARY:JaM Cellers presents An Evening with Matisyahu
DESCRIPTION:There is a spirit that hovers above the waters. It has been here since the beginning of creation\, yet it is just being born. Ancient Child is Matisyahu’s 8th full length studio album. In Jewish mysticism\, eight is the number beyond the natural cycle of the physical world.  As Matisyahu brings forth his eighth studio album\, the Ancient Child simultaneously reaches back in time and towards the future\, in search of the infinite divine light of redemption. Here\, Matisyahu finds himself reconnected with his Jewish identity and spirituality in a world post October 7th. \nIn a climate that has become obsessed with being “right” and defending its ego at all costs\, the Ancient Child investigates questions about history\, identity and destiny from the humility of a child through the wisdom of the of generations’ past. While Matisyahu had shifted his focus over the last decade to his personal life from his religion\, Ancient Child is a strong return to his love for Judaism and the deep existential quest to find universal meaning in the darkness. So what does Matisyahu come up with? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen the world turns to darkness\, humanity has a choice – hide in a corner or meet at the crossroads and find a way to come together.

SUMMARY:JaM Cellar Presents Eric Johnson
DESCRIPTION:One of the most outstanding instrumentalists in rock over the past 40 years\, Texas guitarist Eric Johnson was already a legend before he recorded his first album. By the early 1980s\, many celebrated guitarists were singing the praises of this skinny kid from Austin with the mind-melting chops. Comparisons were made to such guitar heroes as Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix and when he joined the ‘70s Austin fusion band Electromagnets they were being hailed as “the Mahavishnu Orchestra of Texas”. \nWith the release of his highly anticipated 1986 solo debut album Tones\, the underground guitar legend finally emerged onto the scene fully-formed. It landed him on the cover of Guitar Player magazine\, which hailed the album as a “majestic debut”\, and earned him his first Grammy nomination for the song “Zap”. With the release of his follow up album\, 1990’s platinum-selling Ah Via Musicom\, which contained the Grammy Award winning song “Cliffs of Dover”\, Eric Johnson became a bona fide international guitar phenomenon. \nThe New Age Music Guide once opined that “Eric Johnson plays guitar the way Michelangelo painted ceilings: with a colorful vibrancy that’s more real than life” while Rolling Stone included him in their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of the 21st century. A dynamic singer as well as an incredibly gifted guitarist\, a pianist and a prolific songwriter\, Eric has been featured on the cover of countless guitar magazines around the world while also racking up critical accolades along the way.
