The band will perform their classic album in its entirety\, in sequence. The tour will also include a performance at Stagecoach\, the world’s largest country music festival. \nOriginally released on May 21\, 1996\, Bringing Down the Horse was a critical and commercial triumph. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and was certified quadruple platinum\, cementing the band’s place in ’90s rock history. The LP yielded four hit singles: \n• “6th Avenue Heartache” – Two Grammy nominations (1997)• “One Headlight” – Reached #1 on the Billboard singles chart\, winning two Grammy Awards (1998). The song ranked #58 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Pop Songs”• “The Difference” – Grammy nomination (1998)• “Three Marlenas” – Released as the album’s final single in October 1997 \nInfluenced by a slew of first-generation American songwriters including The Band and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers\, The Wallflowers will also pay tribute on the upcoming tour to the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers by playing Petty’s 1982 album Long After Dark in its entirety and in sequence as well. \nJakob Dylan\, the band’s chief songwriter\, remains a vital performer in American rock music. As part of three decades of work\, in 2002 he inducted Tom Petty into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 2018\, he performed in the critically acclaimed documentary Echo in the Canyon\, collaborating with artists ranging from Neil Young and Eric Clapton to Beck\, Cat Power\, Norah Jones\, and Regina Spektor. \nDylan also contributed songs to several soundtracks\, including The Wallflowers’ cover of “Heroes” for the 1998 Godzillafilm soundtrack; “Arms of a Ghost” to the television series NCIS: Los Angeles; and “Nothing but the Whole Wide World” to Friday Night Lights. When the band formed in the early 1970s\, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the ’80s became popular opening for headliners Y&T—and cut their teeth on the band\, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe. \nBorn in Oakland\, California\, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s own innovators of the hard rock sound. Whether performing to a festival crowd of fifty-thousand or in an intimate nightclub\, Y&T’s high-energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe\, proving Y&T’s music timeless. \nOriginally formed as Yesterday and Today\, the initial powerhouse quartet—featuring Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals)\, Phil Kennemore (bass)\, Leonard Haze (drums)\, and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar)—tore through the ’70s and ’80s with their own brand of hard rock. After two ’70s albums on London Records\, they shortened their name to Y&T and released eight albums on A&M in the ’80s. Amidst a zeitgeist of punk and disco\, the show suddenly appears to be interrupted by a transmission from the future. A luminous synth riff echoes out\, a beat drives on and up steps an otherworldly figure – part robot\, part alien – to deliver an enigmatic lyric depicting some kind of android existence in a dystopian future. It’s Gary Numan fronting Tubeway Army for their breakthrough hit ‘Are ‘Friends’ Electric?’. \nOf the millions that are watching\, few would’ve recognized that this moment foreshadows the shape of music to come\, from synth-pop to industrial and alt-pop. That\, however\, can’t stop it igniting the imagination of an audience that would swell into a devoted following. \nFast-forward to January\, 2021. Numan’s first single ‘Intruder’ (from the Intruder album) pulsates ominously as if it’s soundtracking an imminent threat. As austere synths loom like shadows and industrial beats are detonated\, the beguiling hook towers like a beacon in the darkness. It’s visionary and venomous\, with a narrative that imagines the Earth growing angry at mankind’s actions\, and more than willing to fight back. In the accompanying video\, Numan looks even more out of time than he did back in 1979\, like an intergalactic refugee fighting for his own existence.

DESCRIPTION:Born in 1953 in Detroit\, Michigan\, Marshall Crenshaw learned to tune a guitar correctly at age ten and has been trying ever since. His first big break came in 1978 playing John Lennon in “Beatlemania”\, first as an understudy in New York\, then in the West Coast company followed by a national touring company. Removing himself from that situation in Feb. 1980\, Marshall settled in New York City. After crossing paths with the great and legendary Alan Betrock\, Marshall recorded his debut single “Something’s Gonna Happen” (for Betrock’s Shake Records label)\, which led to a deal with Warner Bros. His debut album\, Marshall Crenshaw\, was acclaimed as a masterpiece upon its release in 1982 and established him as a singular songwriter\, record maker\, and guitarist. The album spawned the hit single “Someday\, Someway\,” and other classics such as “(You’re My) Favorite Waste of Time\,” “Whenever You’re On My Mind” and “Cynical Girl.”\n\nOver the course of a career that’s spanned three decades\, 13 albums\, Grammy and Golden Globe nominations\, film and TV appearances (Buddy Holly in “La Bamba”) and thousands of performances\, Marshall Crenshaw’s musical output has maintained a consistent fidelity to the qualities of artfulness\, craftsmanship and passion\, and his efforts have been rewarded with the devotion of a broad and remarkably loyal fan base.\n\nAlong with touring around the country and the occasional recording project\, Marshall currently hosts his own radio show\, “The Bottomless Pit”\, every Saturday at 10 PM on New York’s WFUV. Other current projects include a documentary film-in progress about legendary record producer Tom Wilson. Often compared to Lewis Black or Bill Hicks due to his passionate\, ranting approach\, Roy has a style that is definitively his own. \nRoy cut his comedic teeth in Denver at the world famous Comedy Works. Since then\, Ben has been selected to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (for New Faces\, The Nasty Show\, and his own hour show)\, Just For Laughs Toronto\, Just For Laughs Chicago\, The New York Comedy Festival\, Austin’s South by Southwest festival (where he was an official invitee for both music and comedy in the same year)\, and many more. \nRoy has been featured on HBO’s Funny as Hell series; as well as on the Comedy Central shows Adam DeVine’s House Party\, Corporate\, @midnight\, This Is Not Happening\, and TruTV’s Talk Show The Game Show. Ben has also released five stand-up comedy albums and was listed as one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch. In 2023 his first streaming stand-up special\, ‘HYENA’\, was released on YouTube by 800LB Gorilla Media. That same year NPR listed ‘HYENA’ as one of their Top Specials Of 2023. From that success\, ‘HYENA’ was licensed by HULU and Disney+ and began streaming on their platforms in July of 2024. Ben will be recording his sixth album at the world famous Comedy Works Downtown in January 2026.

DESCRIPTION:April 10 & 11 @ 8pm\n\nGeorge Porter Jr. is an award-winning bassist\, songwriter and vocalist. He is a founding member of New Orleans’ seminal funk band\, The Meters and widely recognized as one of the greatest bass players of all time. Formed alongside Art “Poppa Funk” Neville\, Leo Nocentelli and Joseph Zigaboo Modeliste\, the pioneering R&B funk outfit hit the scene on the streets of the Crescent City in the 1960s\, to ultimately become one of the progenitors of the funk music genre. The groundbreaking collective carved out syncopated polyrhythms and grooves inherited from New Orleans’ deep African musical roots. Porter’s heavy pocket and fat notes formed the rubbery bass lines behind funk classics like their signature “Cissy Strut\,” the now classic 1969 funk instrumental released as a single from their eponymous debut album\, which reached No. 4 on the R&B chart and No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. While the group rarely enjoyed massive mainstream success\, they are widely heralded alongside James Brown\, Sly Stone\, and George Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic as the founding fathers of funk. The Meters have been nominated four times for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (most recently in 2017) and were presented with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2018.
