SUMMARY:Corte Madera Summer Concerts: Ruth Gerson
DESCRIPTION:The Corte Madera Community Foundation will continue their long-standing tradition of sponsoring music for the community this summer. Music will be from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.  \n\n\n\n\nSinger\, songwriter\, and multi-instrumentalist Ruth Gerson has performed on the Craig Ferguson and Conan O’Brien late night tv shows and was a featured performer at the Newport Folk Festival\, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival\, High Sierra Music Festival\, ARTSCAPE\, CMJ\, and SXSW. Opening act is The Turnarounds (former members of The Graystones)\, a band of middle school students whose videos on the internet have gone viral. \nruthgerson.com \n\n\n\n\nPlease note that the concert series will be held at Town Park while Menke Park is being renovated. After construction is completed\, which is expected to be in late July\, the concerts will return to Piccolo Pavilion in Menke Park.
