SUMMARY:Friday Night Live at the Cloverdale Plaza presents David Luning Band
DESCRIPTION:With the intuitive sense and emotional depth of a filmmaker\, California native David Luning looks deeply into the human condition in his music\, exploring its shadowy recesses and its brilliantly lit corners. He spent a few years studying film scoring at the Berklee College of Music\, then John Prine’s music changed his life. “Some friends of mine shared John’s music with me… And it was like discovering a whole other way to approach music. It made me realize just how powerful the right lyric can be. The right lyric can create a thousand images and stories in your head and therefore can hit pretty hard emotionally.”\n\nLuning brings his consummate storytelling skills and musical ingenuity to his third album\, Lessons. The songs range from the echoing poignance of “Out of My Head”\, to the infectious rhythms of “The Way It Goes” and the ethereal strains of “The Moon Looks Cool Tonight.” Luning\, a multi-instrumentalist\, plays acoustic guitar\, electric guitar\, piano\, percussion and synth on the new album. “Recording is really my favorite thing to do in this world and it was a treat to get to work with Damien Lewis (producer/engineer) and the many incredible musicians that brought this album to life.” The blend of folk\, blues\, and country offers a freedom and spaciousness that allows Luning to follow his reflections down wherever they lead him\, resulting in soaring\, cinematic moments or flashes of quiet introspection.

SUMMARY:Sweetwater Music Hall presents Margo Price – Wild At Heart Tour with Jeremy Ivey
DESCRIPTION:Nearly a decade ago\, Margo Price turned Nashville on its head with her breakthrough\, beloved debut solo album\, Midwest Farmer’s Daughter. Released in the throes of bro-country and before pop stars were crossing over into the genre left and right\, it showcased an artist completely unafraid to double down not only on herself\, but what she’d always loved: classic country songs written from the intellect and the gut\, hell-bent on truth-telling and both timeless and urgent all at once. Respected by her peers\, praised by critics and beloved by her fans\, Price created a lane where independent-minded\, insurgent country music can exist and thrive alongside the mainstream\, and became an ardent fighter for her beliefs in a genre where the norm is to shut up and sing. A trailblazer and a champion for the craft\, Price redefined what it meant to be a modern country artist. \nAnd now she’s back with an exquisite\, truly timeless album that reconnects with her roots and pays tribute to the art of the country song\, inspired in part by the legends whom she now calls colleagues and friends. Hard Headed Woman is both a look forward and a look back: a way to march forward while staying true to yourself when the path of less resistance is right there in front of us\, and short cuts are around every corner. And a way to look back when we need to trim what is no longer working\, and to stay connected with where we’re from. It is a promise and a manifesto\, a love song to both a city and a genre\, and a defiant cry for individuality.

SUMMARY:Green Music Center presents Wynonna Judd & Melissa Etheridge Raised On Radio Tour
DESCRIPTION:with special guest Maggie Rose\nGrammy Award-winning icons\, Melissa Etheridge and Wynonna Judd are bringing their co-headlining Raised On Radio Tour to Weill Hall + Lawn! These two musical trailblazers are teaming up for an unforgettable tour\, bringing fans their chart-topping hits and signature sounds that made them two of the most celebrated artists of all time. \n“I’ve spent my entire adult life onstage\, but before any of that\, I was just a girl sitting close to a radio speaker\, hanging on every word. That’s where it all started for me\,” says Judd. She continues\, “Raised On Radio isn’t just a tour name—it’s my roots and wings. It’s late nights with the dial turned low\, chasing distant stations through the static. It’s songs that felt like they understood me before I understood myself. The radio was my teacher\, my comfort\, my escape. The songs playing through that radio shaped me as a dreamer and an artist. This tour is about going back to that feeling and sharing it with you.” \nEtheridge adds\, “I was literally raised on the radio; growing up in Leavenworth\, I listened to WHB. They played every kind of music from rock and soul to R&B and country music. It helped shape me to become the versatile writer and musician that I am today.” \nRock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Etheridge stormed the rock scene with her confessional lyrics and signature vocal rasp on “Bring Me Some Water\,” “Come to My Window\,” “Bein’ Alive” and “The Other Side of Blue” with Chris Stapleton from her new album Rise (2026). \nJudd\, a five-time Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Fame member\, first rose to fame as one-half of the legendary country music duo\, The Judds. She cemented her stardom through countless chart-topping solo hits in the ‘90s and 2000s\, including “No One Else on Earth\,” “I Saw The Light\,” and “She Is His Only Need.”

SUMMARY:Coyote Sonoma presents Country Line Dancing with Dustin Saylor & The Stowaways
DESCRIPTION:Join us for line dancing lessons from Grapevine Dance! Plus live music from Dustin Saylor & The Stowaways.\n\nAbout Dustin Saylor:\nDustin Saylor\, a Northern California-born country singer-songwriter\, has made a name for himself as the #1 Country/Folk artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. His musical journey began in childhood\, first at the piano and later as a guitarist and singer for his high school youth group and local church. Despite early challenges\, including a devastating American Idol rejection in 2009\, Saylor had a transformative moment on his long drive home\, realizing that true success required full commitment. Embracing his calling\, he quit bartending\, pursued a music degree at Sonoma State University\, and became a full-time musician. Over the years\, he has performed alongside artists like Tyler Rich\, Chase Rice\, and Daughtry\, with his sound often compared to Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton. His songwriting is deeply personal\, shaped by his early experiences of adoption and the contrasting struggles and joys of his life. Through his music\, Saylor seeks to inspire\, heal\, and create a space where people can connect beyond labels. Committed to his craft\, he remains “all in\,” determined to sing and play music for the rest of his life.
