DESCRIPTION:You are invited to gather in the streets of downtown Cloverdale for one last street fair\, complete with vendors\, food and live music! The Street Fair starts at 6pm and the music will play from 7pm – 9:30pm. \nThe Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band has performed in 38 countries and 48 states. They have been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine\, Living Blues\, Elmore\, donned the cover of Vintage Guitar Magazine\, had #1 records on the Billboard Blues Charts\, and have been nominated for three Blues Music Awards by the Blues Foundation in Memphis. The Indianapolis Star listed Reverend Peyton as one of the top 25 Hoosier musicians of all time. \nOften called\, “the greatest front-porch blues band in the world” the Big Damn Band is led by Reverend Peyton\, who is considered to be one of the premier finger pickers playing today. Rev has earned a reputation as both a singularly compelling performer and a persuasive evangelist for the rootsy\, country blues styles that captured his imagination early in life and inspired him and his band to make pilgrimages to Clarksdale\, Mississippi to study under such blues masters as T-Model Ford\, Robert Belfour and David “Honeyboy” Edwards.

SUMMARY:Luther Burbank Center presents 17th Annual Fiesta de Independencia 2026
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a taste of Latin America in Sonoma County! Enjoy authentic food\, music\, games\, and activities for the entire family. Organized by the Center’s Latino Advisory Council\, this free\, family-friendly\, campus-wide festival honors Latin American countries that recognize their independence during this month. \nLBC also will present its annual Community Leadership Awards in partnership with Los Cien Sonoma County to an individual and an organization that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the Latino Community through volunteerism\, education\, mentorship\, or other personal or professional efforts. \nFiesta de Independencia began at the Center in 2010 to commemorate Mexican Independence Day (September 16) and has since evolved to celebrate the rich history of the diverse Latino cultures and people who are an integral part of the North Bay community. Drawing more than 5\,000 community members each year\, the event has become a Sonoma County tradition. The Fiesta is a community-wide celebration of cultures\, people\, and traditions that also increases awareness about Hispanic history and tradition\, service organizations that support our community\, and the many Latinx businesses in Sonoma County.
