SUMMARY:Raven Performing Arts Theater presents macbitches
DESCRIPTION:macbitches takes a darkly funny look at the toxic\, high-stakes world of university theater\, centering on a freshman who unexpectedly lands the role of Lady Macbeth. The play centers on freshman acting major Hailey\, who unexpectedly scores the coveted role of Lady Macbeth. Her upperclassmen rivals immediately invite her over to “celebrate.” As the Fireball and Svedka flow\, the young women interrogate their own ambitions as well as the power structures that have shaped their education—and when the night spirals into violent and shocking acts of betrayal\, they come to learn that what’s done cannot be undone. \nWritten by Sophie McIntosh\nDirected by Jeanette Seisdedos

SUMMARY:The California Theatre presents Dgiin
DESCRIPTION:Musique Magicale\, extremely danceable\, complex\, and undefinable. \nSonoma County’s favorite French gypsy band returns for an unforgettable evening of movement and magic. Dgiin is a vibrant melting pot of French\, American\, and Quebecois artists performing a repertoire in French infused with Spanish guitar\, brass\, violin\, bass\, percussion\, and rich sibling harmonies. Undefinable and unapologetically danceable\, their sound refuses to fit in a box—and you won’t stay in your seat for long. \nNamed “Best World Band” by the North Bay Bohemian\, Dgiin blends French-Gypsy-Funk with Django-inspired flair and flamenco fire. For nearly two decades\, they’ve captivated audiences with high-energy performances and a musical journey spanning Paco de Lucía to Django Reinhardt\, with vocals reminiscent of Edith Piaf. Come ready to revel.
