Ralph Woodson’s Purple Haze is not your typical tribute band. He has studied his idol to the point of being able to play the guitar behind his back, and with his teeth. Ralph’s a Hendrix authority, and it’s obvious when you see him perform.
Every year we take a whole weekend to celebrate our fishing heritage, our fisherman and our love of seafood. We end our boat parade with a blessing of the fleet so our fisherman may have a bountiful and safe year of fishing. Come partake in the live music, parades, food, drink and festivities galore.
This show will feature performances by our five talented Adult Performance Bands. Everyone is welcome to get a dose of our amazing community and cheer on these hardworking students.
School of Rock is a performance-based music school combining one-on-one lessons with group rehearsals and presenting live performances three times a year. Our students (both kids and adults) range from complete beginners to experienced musicians who come to us to further hone their skills. A retrospective exhibit featuring the artistic talents of well-known Coast residents, CC Case and Harald Eric Nordvold, will open at the Dolphin Gallery in the Seacliff Center on Saturday, May 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. The exhibit will run through June 1.
