DESCRIPTION:A runner-up in the “San Francisco International Comedy Competition” and the “Seattle Comedy Competition.”  \nVoted “Best Comic” in the SF Weekly Readers Poll. \nJoe is a square peg in a round hole sort of guy. Raised a Midwesterner\, so he has manners\, but living in San Francisco for 30 years\, so he thinks he’s better than you. Joe does two things great- tells stories and talks to the crowd. Joe currently runs two monthly shows in San Francisco. At Cobbs Comedy Club\, his game show\, “Get It!?” Is becoming the next big thing. At The Punch Line\, Joe Klocek & Friends\, is his chance to show off new talent to audiences and headline for an hour Joe also has a podcast about stand-up comedy\, current events and anything interesting. It is on YouTube and it’s called The Splain Joe had a two month “comic in residency” at the first comedy club in Shanghai\, China. \nJoe has been featured on NPR’s\, “Snap Judgement” and has also appeared on Comedy Centrals\, “Live at Gotham” NBC’s\, “Last Comic Standing” and was commentator for the Emmy award winning documentary\, “A Bridge so Far Joe has also been a runner-up in the “San Francisco International Comedy Competition” and the “Seattle Comedy Competition.”

SUMMARY:Cloverdale Performing Arts Center presents The Young People’s Chamber Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:The Young People’s Chamber Orchestra is a youth string orchestra working without a conductor. It is modeled after the Bay Area’s renowned New Century Chamber Orchestra and is the first youth ensemble of its kind in northern California. Currently under the direction of Aaron Westman\, the orchestra has been featured as a guest on a New Century Chamber Orchestra performance and has been a winner of the Berkeley Junior Bach Festival.  \nThe Santa Rosa Symphony Institute for Music Education: Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles’ mission is to offer young musicians an exceptional educational experience by providing the finest quality orchestral training and performance opportunities in Sonoma County. Our goal is for young musicians to develop an awareness and appreciation of great music in the context of learning responsibility and teamwork\, while they participate in our community through public\nperformance. Students can begin instruments as young as five years old at our Summer Music Academy\, and remain in our training programs as they excel\, into their first years of college.
