SUMMARY:Ross Valley Players presents Death of a Salesman
DESCRIPTION:Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman is a work of deep and revealing beauty\, that remains one of the most profound achievements in American theater. \nSet in late 1940s Brooklyn and told through a montage of memories\, dreams\, and arguments of the protagonist traveling salesman Willy Loman who is despondent with his life and appears to be slipping into senility. Several tragic\, soul-searching revelations – concerning his wife\, his sons and his business associates – underscore how his quest for the “American Dream” kept him blind to the people who truly loved him. \nArthur Miller had been thinking about a play about a salesman for years. He also had new interest in the simultaneity of the past and present. Miller sought to “do a play without any transitions at all\, dialogue that would simply leap from bone to bone of a skeleton that would not for an instant cease being added to\, an organism as strictly economic as a leaf\, as trim as an ant.”

SUMMARY:6th Street Playhouse presents Misalliance
DESCRIPTION:Misalliance is one of George Bernard Shaw’s most spirited and surprising comedies. Set in the drawing room of a prosperous English family on a seemingly ordinary afternoon\, the tranquility is shattered when an airplane literally crashes into their greenhouse\, introducing a bold\, unconventional aviatrix into the midst of polite society. As suitors circle\, secrets surface\, and romantic expectations unravel\, Shaw turns the traditional courtship comedy on its head with sharp wit and deliciously tangled misunderstandings. \nBeneath its farcical twists and sparkling dialogue\, Misalliance offers lively debate alongside laugh-out-loud moments\, making it as thought-provoking as it is entertaining. First performed in 1910 it has endured as a favorite among Shaw enthusiasts for its feminist themes and energetic social satire. The play reflects the early 20th century’s fascination with aviation\, modern industry\, and shifting social structures\, capturing a world on the brink of transformation.

SUMMARY:Sweetwater Music Hall presents Wolf Jett with Sqwerv
DESCRIPTION:The sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance\, sing… and possibly even howl! \n\nTheir all-original songs infuse folk\, soul and Americana into what they call “Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners\, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals and guitar of Tennessee-born frontman Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums. Currently performing with Duncan Shipton (bass)\, Allyson Makuch (vocals)\, Rory Cloud (guitar)\, and Alex Benjamin (keys/percussion).\n\nChris and Jon formed Wolf Jett in early 2020. The ‘Jett’ comes from his maternal grandfather’s last name\, and is a tribute to his family’s legacy. Just before the scheduled release of their debut album the world was hit by pandemic and all tours were cancelled\, so they constructed an analog studio at Jon’s residence called “House on a Hill” in Boulder Creek\, CA. Tragically\, CZU Lightning fires ripped through Big Basin State Park in August of that year\, consuming the house and studio along with it. Their story was featured in SF Chronicle\, Oakland Tribune\, San Jose Mercury\, and Santa Cruz Sentinel. Seeing an opportunity to bring healing energy to their community\, they recorded an emotionally-charged live performance of their song “Garden of Pain” among the ashes and rubble of where their home once stood with the help of friends The T Sisters\, which was featured on several streaming fundraisers to help raise much-needed donations for thousands of fire victims.\n\nThey have performed with California Honeydrops\, Allen Stone\, Cedric Burnside\, Fruition\, The Brothers Comatose\, AJ Lee & Blue Summit\, Shiny Ribs\, and Mother Hips. Their albums feature Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne)\, Stelth Ulvang (Lumineers)\, James Deprato (Chuck Prophet)\, and Eric Yates (Hot Buttered Rum). Currently in Radio rotation on local CA stations KPIG\, KZSC\, KRML\, KBCZ\, KSQD\, as well as WNCW in North Carolina and WDVX in Tennessee.\n\n\nSqwerv‘s roots run deep in the Denver music scene. Those roots began to take hold as the band started hosting local open jams and playing gigs at small bars and venues in 2017. Since then\, Sqwerv has become a staple in Denver’s music scene with bands like Magic Beans\, Squeaky Feet\, Eminence Ensemble and Rado.

SUMMARY:Uptown Theatre presents Altan
DESCRIPTION:Altan is celebrating forty years on the road\, bringing their native music to world-renowned stages such as Carnagie Hall\, the Sydney Opera House\, Dublin’s National Concert Hall as well as to the famous Glastonbury Festival\, Tradfest Temple Bar in Dublin\, and Festival Interceltique de Lorient in Brittany. \nBuilding on this history\, their latest album ‘Donegal’ was released in 2024 (Compass Records) and has received widespread positive reviews. SUMMARY:Mystic Theatre presents The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes it’s hard to believe that The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus began their expedition into the hearts and minds of a generation 20 years ago. Their blazing 2006 debut single “Face Down” delivered both anthemic choruses and a strident message about domestic abuse\, with the song and the album it appears on ‘Don’t You Fake It”’ (both celebrating their 20th Anniversary in 2026) achieving both sales accolades and adoration from crowds all over the planet. They’ve accomplished a massive amount\, from 5x platinum record sales to close to 2 billion streams and a worldwide touring history\, but the band’s real success begins and ends with the dedication and passion frontman Ronnie Winter has for his fans. From the poignancy of “Face Down\,” to the blistering 2025 singles “Perfection” and “Slipping Through\,” to the fan favorites “Brace Yourself” (from 2020’s ‘The Emergency EP’) and the title track from 2011’s album ‘Am I The Enemy\,’ The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus continue to put sweat equity and sincerity into a world that desperately needs it in no uncertain terms. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have proven how far you can go by opening your heart and diming your guitar amps. This isn’t nostalgia—this is right now.
